Initially it was said to vaccinate serious patients above 50 years of age. At the same time, vaccination centers also started in private hospitals. Right now health and frontline workers are getting vaccinated. Vaccination will be free in government hospitals, what will be the cost in private and what will be the serious diseases, it will be decided in two to three days. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar gave this information after the cabinet meeting. On the other hand, the Covin app is also being updated before the vaccination of common people starts. Information related to vaccination certificates will also be downloaded from the app. On the other hand, the third vaccine exercise is also continuing in the country. Dr. Reddy’s Lab is testing Russia’s vaccine Sputnik in the country. The company had sought permission for its emergency use. CDSCO’s expert committee asked the lab to present additional vaccine data.
A resident of any state can get vaccinated in any state with the Covin app. Covin’s link is also available on the Arogya Setu App. The answers to the vaccine related questions are also there on the app.
To get a Certificate, registration on the Covin app and 14 digit Benefit Reference ID will be required. With this, the certificate can also be obtained after vaccination.
According to the sources, private hospitals will not be allowed to buy vaccines directly from companies. The center will give them vaccines. It is possible that the government would also provide free vaccines among them. Private hospitals can be asked to take operational costs and service charges from the beneficiaries for vaccination. The government can decide its amount by how much should be taken.
The Covin app will be launched by the Central Government from February 27-28 for the general public. The work of updating it is in progress.
