Future city: There will be no roads and no cars, pollution is also zero; Saudi Arabia launches Rs 37 lakh crore Project of

A city where there will be no road nor car. Pollution will also be zero. Ultra high speed transit system, enabled transport and next generation freight service. With this, passengers will be able to reach from one end to the other in just 20 minutes.

This is strange to hear, but true. Indeed, Saudi Arabia, with a population of 34 million, is looking for a future without oil. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has launched a project. He named the 170 km long development project as ‘The Line’. It is part of the project Neom to be built at $ 500 billion (about Rs 36.75 lakh crore).

Nearly 1 million people will be able to live in Neom. Neom will create 3.80 lakh jobs by 2030. The city’s infrastructure will cost $ 200 billion (about Rs 14.70 lakh crore). Work will begin in the next two months and the city will be ready by 2025.

Neom city will be with public transport system
Regarding the project, the Crown Prince said- “Why do we think that development cannot be done with preserving nature.” Why do we sacrifice nature with development. The city will be a revolution for mankind with zero cars, zero roads, zero emissions. Neom will have a high-speed public transport system. Artificial intelligence will play an important role in this.
