India have started well in the fourth and final Test match of the series with Australia.
Australia won the toss of this test match being played at Brisbane Cricket Ground and captain Tim Paine decided to bat first.
However, his decision was not very good according to the batting attack of Australia. Both Australia openers David Warner and Marcus Harris were dismissed by scoring one and five runs respectively.
Warner was caught by Mohammad Siraj with Rohit Sharma on his ball, while Harris caught Washington Sundar off Shardul Thakur.
In the four-Test series, both teams are at par. The third Test match played in Sydney was a draw. The entire series has been difficult for India.
Successive players were injured and had to be ruled out. In the last Test match neither allrounder Ravindra Jadeja nor Jasprit Bumrah. Ravichandran Ashwin has also been ruled out due to injury in the last match.
Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar have been given the chance in the fourth Test match. Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav are already out of the series.
In the absence of Virat Kohli, the captaincy of Team India is being done by Ajinkya Rahane. Virat Kohli returned to play the first match of this series. Virat was about to become a father then and decided to take leave. Rohit Sharma has also appeared in the third match of this series. Despite this, India has done well in the series.
Right now from Australia, Marnus Labuschen, Steve Smith and Cameron Green are in form and these teams are becoming a problem for India’s bowlers. Steve Smith had played a brilliant innings of 131 runs in the first innings of the Sydney Test match and scored a half-century in the second innings as well. Right now Smith and Labushen are in the field.
