Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are due in the year 2022. In view of this, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party of Delhi has made a big announcement. The party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced that the AAP In UP Elections will participate in the 2022 assembly elections to be held. He made this announcement while addressing a press conference. Kejriwal said that the public of UP reposed faith in all parties in turn, but all stabbed him in the back.
Announcing the party to contest elections, Kejriwal appealed to the people to support him, highlighting the achievements of the Delhi government. He said that why people have to come to Delhi for small facilities? Can India’s largest state (Uttar Pradesh) not become the largest developed state in the country? Kejriwal, referring to the work done in the areas of health, education and women safety of the Delhi government, promised to implement them in UP also when the government is formed.
Targeting UP’s parties
The CM of Delhi targeted all the political parties of Uttar Pradesh without naming them. He said that the people of Uttar Pradesh reposed trust in every party but all parties betrayed them. Every government of UP destroyed the corruption records of the previous government. He said that there is a lack of right and clear intention in UP politics. In Delhi, we acted cleanly and rightly and now we will do the same in UP.
AAP UP chief expressed gratitude
Activists of Aam Aadmi Party Uttar Pradesh have expressed happiness over the decision of party convenor Kejriwal. AAP’s UP chief Sabhajit Singh tweeted and thanked the Chief Minister’s decision. He said, ‘I thank all the top leadership along with the National Convenor of the party Arvind Kejriwal and (Uttar) State In-Charge Sanjay Singh (Sanjay Singh) on behalf of the UP organization, that they have given the upcoming assembly elections of U.P. I decided to fight the Aam Aadmi Party.
