15 May 2020 : Last Date to ‘Accept’ WhatsApp’s New Privacy Policy


Social media company WhatsApp has set May 15 as the deadline to approve the new privacy policy. WhatsApp has said that the user (users) who will not approve its new privacy policy till May 15, will neither be able to send or receive messages. However, the company had clarified that it will not remove user’s accounts. 

But users who do not approve the new privacy policy will get limited facilities. They will be able to call for a few days.  They will also be able to get notifications. Whatsapp on its FAQ (question and answer) page lists the changes to be made after May 15. According to this, users who remain inactive for 120 days, their account will be automatically deleted.
