So far many farmers have lost their lives due to agitation against agricultural laws. A farmer performing on the Singhu border died on Tuesday. Earlier on Monday, a road accident occurred in the white village of Patiala district on Monday night, in which two farmers returning from Delhi were staging a death.
Many farmers have also been injured in this accident, who have been admitted to the hospital. The names of the two farmers who lost their lives are Labh Singh and Gurpreet Singh. Gurupreet Singh is 23 years old and was the only earner in his house. It is being told that the farmers were returning home from the tractor-trolley after staging a sit-in in Delhi, when the elderly farmer died on the Singhu border.
The agitation of the farmers continues to demand the withdrawal of the three agricultural laws. Meanwhile, a farmer was killed in front of Usha Tower on the Singhu border. The deceased farmer has been identified as Gurmeet resident Mohali (age 70 years). After receiving the information of the accident, Kundali police station reached the spot.
So far, four farmers have died on the Singhu border of Sonipat. Police has sent the body of Gurmeet in possession and sent it to Civil Hospital Sonepat for post mortem. Simultaneously, the case is being investigated.
